Anti Virus Cost Calculator

The Total Cost of Ownership for Anti Virus is not widely known or discussed in the marketplace. To encourage better total cost of Anti Virus ownership, Software Security Solutions has created this calculator that shows the potential hidden costs of your Anti Virus software.

How to use this calculator:

1. Enter the email address where the results should be sent.
2. Enter your current AV manufacture's name.
3. Enter your current AV version (usually found under the Help > About menu)
4 Enter the number of Employees in the company.
5. Enter the estimated number of seconds your AV takes to scan during boot up.
6. Enter the estimated average number of seconds your AV takes to scan a document during open or close or both.
7. Enter the estimated average number of documents your employees access each day.
8. Enter the estimated average number of seconds your AV takes to scan an E-Mail document during sending or receiving or both.
9. Enter the estimated average number of E-Mails your employees access each day.
10. Enter the average hourly employee wage.
11. The results will be sent to you via your email address and submitted anonymously to our National AV Cost Research project.
